Introduction
A computer virus is a program code that automatically enters the computer, prepared by an external source. The world's first computer virus was Elk Cloner, which was revealed by 'In the Wild'. This computer virus spreads through a floppy disk in the Apple DOS 3.3 operating system. A computer virus is a program that wreaks havoc on our computer, which damages your files and information present in the operating system without your knowledge or warning. The easiest way to spread computer viruses is the increasing use of network, Internet and e-mail. Generally computer virus can come in your computer in the following way-
1. Using the infected program
2. Using the infected file
3. By booting the computer to a disk drive with an infected floppy disk and pen drive
4. Using pirated software
Computer viruses are not generated on their own, but these viruses are programs designed by people. Some people use it to protect their computer and some people prepare it for destruction. Types of computer viruses
